The ACCO
Adaptation Working Group recently launched with the mission of
developing tools and resources for practitioners seeking to incorporate
climate science and implications into organizational, sectoral and/or
regional strategies. In support of that effort, the working group
is conducting research to establish baseline for ACCO members who are
thinking of, planning for, or beginning to identify barriers to
effective climate change adaptation.
-
Effectively
communicating climate science and climate change impacts;
-
Integrating adaptation
into business and operating risk management; and
-
Assisting members in the
development of regional adaptation strategies.
About the Questionnaire
The survey will seek to gather
information on the nature of your organization's operations, use of
climate change information in developing and implementing operational
strategies, knowledge of projected climate impacts, and barriers to
implementation of adaptation efforts.
